City Office

Beginning in the Fall of 2012, the City Council determined the need to hire a City Administrator.  Therefore starting May of 2013, the City of Jetmore implemented the position of City Administrator, the first time in the City’s history.

The City Administrator is responsible for the administration of all city affairs including the day-to-day operations.  The Administrator is charged with carrying out the policies and decisions set forth by the City Council which includes implementing policies, personnel management, creation of the City budget, oversight of the City departments, economic development, contract negotiations, handling the media, intergovernmental discussion, and overall ensuring service to the citizens of Jetmore.

The City Office Staff is responsible for handling the daily operations of the City of Jetmore.  This includes financial, contracts, legal matters, bill pay, city code enforcement, economic development, and overall direct communication with the public and outside entities.
