In the Fall of 2012, the City Council determined the need to hire a City Administrator, hiring the city’s first Administrator in May of 2013.
The City Administrator is responsible for the administration of all city affairs including the day-to-day operations. The Administrator is charged with carrying out the policies and decisions set forth by the City Council which includes implementing policies, personnel management, creation of the City budget, oversight of all City departments, economic development, contract negotiations, handling the media, intergovernmental discussion, and overall ensuring service to the citizens of Jetmore.
The City Office Staff is responsible for handling the daily operations of the City of Jetmore. This includes financials, contracts, legal matters, utility billing, code enforcement, economic development, and overall direct communication with the public and outside entities.
